The aim of Neumann János Computer science company is to help the application and the development of informatics in our country and in the Hungarian language regions as a professional forum being independent of institutions, to help spreading results, to rise the ethical level of the trade, and to protect it, and to express the ideas of those who deal with informatics in a professional way and those who apply informatical means and methods in other professional fields and to valuate their professional interests. Besides it takes part in international professional life actively, and pays attention to spread informatical culture. In the frame of the society there is the Neumann Club in the meetings of which the actual themes of the profession are debated in deliberate form. The company organizes Neumann-congress in every 3 year which is one of the most highly-ranked organizations of the trade. The society organizes other traditionsl conferences, too:

-          cybernetics and information technology methods in medicine: since 1969, yearly

-          networkshop: since 1991, yearly

-          Hungarian operation – research conference: since 1972 every 3 year
